Craftsmanship
Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province has been a centre of porcelain making for centuries. Pieces are thrown or moulded from fine porcelain clay, trimmed by hand, glazed and fired at high temperature to a dense, white body.
How to Use
For serving and eating food. Before first use, wash in warm water with a little mild detergent. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as pouring boiling liquid into a cold piece straight from the refrigerator.
Care
Wash by hand with warm water and a soft sponge; avoid abrasive scourers. Do not expose to sudden temperature changes. Hand-made and hand-painted pieces vary slightly in colour, pattern and size; photos are for reference.
