The piece is then covered with a clear glaze and fired once at high temperature (around 1,300\u00b0C), which turns the pigment blue and seals the pattern under the glaze, so it does not wear off with use.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Use<\/h3>\n<p>Rinse with hot water before brewing. Add leaves, fill with water, put the lid on and pour out completely after each infusion so the leaves do not over-steep.<\/p>\n<h3>Care<\/h3>\n<p>Wash by hand with warm water and a soft sponge; avoid abrasive scourers. Do not expose to sudden temperature changes.
